Donna Marie Franchi is a multimedia artist who primarily works with clay. She apprenticed at Moravian Pottery and Tile Works and is a former juried member of the Bucks County Guild of Craftsmen. She also has a degree in Psychology from Temple University. Donna’s handmade tiles and mosaics are crafted using many of the same turn-of the-century techniques as used by Henry C. Mercer. As a group facilitator and teacher, her primary goals are to assist others on a journey of personal growth, creative expression and a deepened sense of spiritual connection.
Handmade Tile: Cuenca Method
In this class, students will learn how to decorate clay tiles using the colorful, cuenca method of filling raised outlines on the tile with glaze.

Level: All experience levels welcome. Ages 16 and up.
Tuition: $120 includes a carving block, 8 lbs. low-fire clay, glazes and firing. Additional materials may be purchased on site.
