I often wish that I could shake the lifelong feeling of being called to create art that will initiate a major shift in societal values. This heroic task seems daunting at times. However, that is what drives me to create, a desire to share a vision for a more inclusive, innovative, joyful and regenerative society. Art, given its ability to transcend language barriers, is my chosen form of expression. Clay, and its infinite ability to be shaped into any form, is my chosen medium for communicating the ideas that fill my mind. Although clay is my first love, I have recently begun experimenting with other art forms such as printmaking and videography because the results are more immediate. The world seems to be moving faster each day and I feel the squeeze of my last day on earth drawing near.
